We build formwork and fix steel reinforcement for concrete structures across Sydney. Precise, engineer-compliant work that determines the quality of every pour.
Formwork defines the shape. Steel reinforcement provides the strength. Together they determine whether a concrete structure performs as designed or develops problems from day one.
We construct formwork and place reinforcement steel for slabs, footings, walls, columns, beams, staircases, and retaining structures. Every element is built from engineering drawings. Bar sizes, spacing, laps, cover, chair heights, and tie wire placement all follow the structural specification exactly.
This is the work that happens before the concrete truck arrives. It is also the work that determines whether the finished structure meets its design requirements. We take it seriously.
We build formwork systems that hold their shape under the pressure and weight of wet concrete.
Traditional timber formwork for slabs, footings, walls, and columns. We use structural grade timber and plywood, properly braced and supported for the specific pour height and pressure.
Modular steel panel systems for repetitive pours, walls, and columns. Faster to erect and strip on larger projects with consistent dimensional requirements.
Propped formwork for suspended slabs including falsework design, prop spacing, and bearer/joist layouts. All propping follows AS 3610 requirements for the specific loading.
Where concrete surfaces will remain exposed, we use lined formwork or selected ply to achieve the required surface finish. Joint lines, tie holes, and panel layouts are planned for the final appearance.
Reinforcement placement is not approximate work. Every bar has a specified position, and we put it there.
We work directly from the structural engineer's reinforcement drawings and bar schedules. Bar marks, sizes, shapes, spacing, and lap lengths are all taken from the documentation.
Reinforcement is cut, bent, and placed to the specified dimensions. We use bar chairs and spacers to maintain the correct cover to all exposed faces.
Lap lengths, couplers, and starter bars are placed to the engineer's specification. Proper lapping is critical for load transfer and structural continuity.
Before any concrete is placed, we verify all reinforcement against the drawings. Cover, spacing, bar sizes, and lap positions are checked and documented.
Send us the structural drawings. We will review the scope and provide a quote for the formwork construction and reinforcement placement.
